The United Nations Human Rights Council
The ever popular HRC committee is back again this year at Reading, and the team has got two hot topics on the Human Rights agenda.
Topic A: Rights of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender + (LGBT+) Community.
Topic B: The Rights of Refugees from Areas of Conflict.
There are 30 places on the committee here in Reading, but all countries available will be taken proportionally from the composition of HRC at present within the UN.
Are you prepared to help improve the human rights record across the world? If so, apply today to be a part of this Council.
The deadline for the Position Papers is Friday 27th November as determined by Aarushi and Nicole. These must be submitted by the email shown below.

Co-ChairIntroducing Nicole El Helou
Nicole El-Helou is a second year student at the University of Westminster studying English Language and Literature.
She has been participating in MUN conferences since I was 14, but this will be her first time chairing. She had so much fun last year at ReadiMUN as a delegate that she hopes the chairing experience will be just as fun. She looks forward to meeting you all and having fruitful debates! |
